The Kinney County Sheriff’s Office reported that between 100 to 150 migrants were found...
were found on a train illegally in southwest Texas.
The dispatchers notified deputies and when they arrived, they found between 12 to 15 people lying flat on the roof of the first “gondola” train car.Deputies were in the middle of apprehending the passengers when one stated that there were more inside some of the gondolas. Deputies called for backup as well as emergency medical services due to the extreme temperatures inside the train cars.
Roughly 90 people were taken into custody at the railyard and were turned over to Border Patrol for identification.
