“It is possible to get a deal by the end of the week. It’s not that difficult to get to an agreement,” he added. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that the negotiations were more cordial than they were last week. House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries described the conservations as “open,” honest,” and “cordial.”
