Juul is attempting a comeback with its next-generation vape after paying out a $462 million settlement to six states for its role in the teen vape epidemic.

“Juul’s lies led to a nationwide public health crisis and put addictive products in the hands of minors who thought they were doing something harmless,” New York Attorney General Letitia James said at a news conference,reported. “Today is another step forward in our fight to protect our kids from getting hooked on vaping and nicotine,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta added.
Juul pledged it wouldn’t market its products to any consumer younger than 35 years old and said it would limit how many pods customers would be able to purchase in stores and online. Age verification is handled through a connected app.
