Police found texts on one victim's phone from Moore they say threatened to kill any man she chose over him.
Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana allows Indianapolis residents to share anonymous tips with law enforcement.A jury on Wednesday found Damarion Moore guilty of two counts of murder in the killings of Chrishaun Snelling, 21, and Shaughnje Scott, 24.
The conviction comes roughly three years after Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers found Snelling with gunshot wounds at an apartment in theWitnesses told investigators Snelling got a phone call from someone asking him to step outside the apartment just before being shot. Prosecutors said police traced the call to Moore’s phone number.
Hours later, officers were told by police in Danville, Illinois that they received a tip about how Moore told his family he killed his girlfriend in Indianapolis, officials said.900 block of Westmore DriveOfficials with the prosecutor’s office said no connection between Snelling and Scott was determined other than they were friends on Facebook and had ties to a high school in Gary.
