Taylor's per-game rushing average has dropped from 106.5 yards last season to 82 in 2022 while his per-carry average has dropped from 5.5 yards to 4. His struggles coincide with a sluggish Colts offense helmed by first-year quarterback Matt Ryan that's produced a league worst 14.3 points per game through four weeks. They were shut out in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. A Colts team that was expected to compete for the AFC South is of to a 1-2-1 start.
