While Marvel Studios has been producing its own shows for Disney+, the original Marvel TV era is getting its due. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio returned to the MCU in 2021 as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. While Cox appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he also went on to recur in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. But the MCU star is getting his own Daredevil show again, this time on Disney+.

Bernthal has begun training for his highly anticipated return by getting back into boxing. The professional boxer, @SlinkProper, shared a video of them working out together while praising Bernthal's Punisher.
While not a sequel to Netflix's Daredevil show, Daredevil: Born Again will be a semi-continuation. The series officially started production last month and filming is expected to go on for most of 2023.Everything We Know About Daredevil: Born Again Daredevil: Born Again will be one of the darker MCU shows out of the Disney+ series. Cox's new show will also have the biggest episode order as Disney+ is producing 18 episodes for season 1.
It's unclear if both characters are getting recast or simply have no parts in Daredevil: Born Again. One more Daredevil character is coming back, but with a different actor playing her this time. After playing Vanessa in the MCU on Netflix, Sandrine Holt is taking over for Ayelet Zurer. Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, Margarita Levieva, and Arty Froushan have been tapped for mystery roles.
It will be intriguing to see how Punisher factors into Daredevil: Born Again. This will be the first time since Daredevil season 2 that Cox and Bernthal share the screen together again. Hopefully soon, a first look at Bernthal's Punisher will come out as Daredevil: Born Again continues filming.
