The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) also represents the largest investment in addressing climate change in U.S. history.
With my biases showing, surely it’s high time that we get after the job of substantially reducing our part in global warming. And the IRA does exactly this as the law is projected to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions to 40% below 2005 levels by 2030! Granted Joe Biden isn’t as sharp as he once was, but that does not mean that he hasn’t or can’t get important things done for our country.
And most importantly, Biden’s age doesn’t detract from his character as a decent, empathetic, warm-hearted man. On the other hand, Donald Trump’s character flaws are so vast that it’s almost impossible to name them all: swindling people in his business dealings, assaulting women and calling them ugly when they complain, lying pathologically, etc.
