The New York Jets will be getting a key weapon back on Monday night. And Breece Hall seems to be confident that he can make an impact less than a year after tearing his ACL.
“I feel pretty good right now,” Hall said Saturday, smiling when asked how he plans to remain patient. “So I don’t feel like I’m too far off. So if it’s just like I’ve got to wait a little bit, I’m fine with that.”
Nor is he worried about the impact Cook might have on how the touches are distributed, admitting they’re both “definitely going to be excited for” the plays they are on the field together and that when they’re not there will be plenty of touches to go around -- even if it means one of them has to watch from the sideline while the other has the hot hand.
The Jets put Hall on the PUP list to start training camp before activating him for practice on Aug. 15. Now after three-plus weeks of practice, Hall is ready to go and get hit for the first time since last October.
