Jordyn Jenkins sets new single-season scoring record as UTSA beats FIU
Jordyn Jenkins scored 33 points to set UTSA’s new single-season scoring record as the Roadrunners picked up a third straight win, beating FIU 85-79 on Saturday in the Convocation Center.
Kyra White added 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting with six assists and five rebounds, as the Roadrunners shot 51.4 percent and finished with just eight turnovers. Jacob Germany scored 16 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds for UTSA , while John Buggs III netted a team-high 18 points. Isaiah Addo-Ankrah scored 15 points in 18 minutes off the bench, and Medor posted 13 points with a game-high nine assists.
