Well, one international airline has launched a clothes-sharing trial it hopes will lessen luggage, help the environment and create an all-round easier traveling experience.

The “Any Wear, Anywhere” trial is currently underway for travelers to Japan, run by Japan Airlines and partnering company Sumitomo Corporation.

Travelers can rent up to eight outfits in three sizes – small, medium and large – in smart, smart casual or mixed styles.In a statement, JAL hoped the trial would promote sustainability and improve the traveler experience. “The concept of the Service is, therefore, to provide a travel experience with minimal luggage by offering clothing rentals at the destination, thereby creating environmental value.
