As the committee begins to end its investigation into the Jan. 6 insurrection, members say they can 'no longer pursue' the subpoena of Trump.

The House Jan. 6 committee announced that it will be dropping its subpoena on former President Donald Trump and its investigation comes to an end.

Thompson said, “Therefore, through this letter, I hereby formally withdraw the subpoena issued to former President Trump, and notify you that he is no longer obligated to comply or produce records in response to said subpoena.”
