Soriano, 47, was listed during his playing days at a svelt 195 pounds, but new photos of him on social media shows a serious body transformation for the former second baseman and left fielder. On Mondy, he reposted a photo of him on the field at Chase Field in Arizona for the Perfect Game Classic event with his arms filling out a tight navy blue Perfect Game shirt – his face showing considerable weight gain from when we last saw him in uniform in 2014.He had two stints in The Bronx from 1999-2005 and then again from 2013-14 after stops in Texas, Washington and Chicago.Alfonso Soriano strikes out during his final season with the Yankees in 2014.
Soriano looks like he would certainly still have some power in his swing despite hitting .221 in his final season in 2014.
