From our National Library, with its 173 million items, to bookmobiles, they all contribute to the soul of our nation
to guide their own consequential work. No doubt many of these texts, eventually, wound up in the National Library.

It visits schools that have no libraries and daycare centers, pre-schools, after-school programs, and summer camps. It also stocks several “little free libraries” around town that were built for readers to gain access to books during the pandemic and remain active.
Books brighten lives, lift spirits, widen horizons, prompt dreams, imagine futures, offer hope and comfort, mystify, challenge, astound, motivate, and they educate, answer questions and raise others, relay history, promote civility, provide instruction, and, of course, books entertain.
