Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a Democrat, responded to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican running in the 2024 presidential election, amid criticism over a new law.
Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker said on the social media that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was not"smart enough to be president."
DeSantis added:"As President, I will restore American sovereignty. No illegal alien should have authority over any American citizen. It is a sad commentary on the state of America that this is even a debate."
