A poverty-stricken mom says she’s resorted toto procure Christmas presents for her young son — and has already found $240 worth of great gifts.
Collins has found several perfect presents for Charlie, including a good-as-new board game and merchandise from “Minecraft” — a video game series the youngster is enamored with. “I’ve found Yankee candles, wax melts and L’Occitane products,” she enthused. “The stuff I find is really good … I’ll sell [it] on Facebook Marketplace. I do that to make a bit more income and it really helps because money was not lasting.”
Now, Collins says she’s become hooked on trawling through trash, venturing out after dark in order to rummage through rubbish.
