I-10 westbound at Loop 610 East closed this weekend east of Houston
Bridge work will undermine travel along westbound Interstate 10 at Loop 610, east of Houston, this weekend.
Crews will close the westbound lanes at 10 p.m. Friday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Lanes will reopen by 4 a.m. Monday. During the closing, drivers will be diverted to northbound Loop 610, where they can exit at Wallisville Road, U-turn and use southbound Loop 610 to return to I-10.
Eastbound lanes of I-10 are unaffected by the closing, but some key connections will be closed in the area. The westbound entrance ramps from Mercury Drive and Holland Avenue/John Ralston Road will be closed, as will the ramp connecting U.S. 90 westbound to both I-10 and Loop 610.
