A star-studded chef lineup is set for the Oct. 13-14 Southern Smoke Festival in Houston. Tickets go on sale June 7. Here’s what you need to know about one of the nation’s top culinary events.
This year’s festival will be held over two days with events downtown: the Respect the Rosé dinner and The Throwdown dine-around.A Monte Carlo-themed multi-course dinner will be held Oct. 13, 6 to 10 p.m. at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, 1300 Lamar. Rosé wines will be poured with a food menu from chefs Sarah Grueneberg , Michael Hudman and Andy Ticer , Rebecca Masson , Ryan Prewitt , Jason Stanhope and Stephen Stryjewski .
Chefs include Chris Bianco , Ashley Christensen , Mason Hereford , Cheetie Kumar and others making their Southern Smoke debut including Nina Compton , Tracy Malechek-Ezekiel , Caroline Schiff , Reem Assil , Angel Barreto , and Ana Castro .The 2023 Southern Smoke Festival that brings some of the nation’s top chefs to Houston will be held Oct. 13-14.
