The Houston Chronicle analyzed which pools are the most popular in Houston to help readers find the coolest places to take a free dip this summer.
The Houston Chronicle analyzed pool visitor data from the Houston Parks and Recreation Department to see which pools have the most swimmers each summer. Since pools have operated on an alternating schedule post-pandemic — and many pools have remained closed — we've only included data from 2017 to 2019 in our analysis.
