Houston ISD superintendent on threat of state takeover: 'I don't know what the future will bring'

“We also know that uncertainly looms in terms of TEA interventions,” House said. “I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know what the future will bring.”During a panel interview afterward, Ruth Turley, a researcher with the Kinder Institute at Rice University, asked him why he took the position of superintendent knowing there was the threat of a takeover.
