Page Six broke the news that the legendary weatherman was taken out of his Upper East Side home on a stretcher and rushed back to the hospital last Friday.
“Due to some complications, he is back in the hospital, and he is in very good care,” Kotb, 58, told viewers. “He’s resting, and his doctors are keeping a close eye on him.”
The co-anchor shared that the weatherman, 68, and his family are “grateful” for “all the love, the support and the well-wishes” they have received in recent weeks.
