PARMA, Ohio — Jim Kulikowski, Tyler Davis and Abigail Brosky are all high school students who are getting a close up look at what it’s like to be a police officer. The three teenagers are part of the Parma Law Post.
The law post is part of the Boy Scouts Explorer Program giving both boys and girls a look at careers in all different fields. “We’re not just going out in police cars, going lights and sirens to calls. We do our fair share of that, but we’re also doing the nitty gritty—we’re going in the office, we’re doing the paperwork, we’re dealing with people, hands on,” said Kulikowski.Mark Kocinski is one of them. He joined the department about a year ago.
