Irving residents can drop off unused prescription drugs Saturday as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Medical City Las Colinas, 6800 N. MacArthur Blvd.
Residents can drop off any prescription medications, drug samples, pet medications, medicated ointments and lotions, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, inhalers and unopened EpiPens. The national event, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, aims to prevent drug addictions and overdoses. It also helps keep contaminants from water, which happens when people flush drugs.
