Dominguez has been in federal custody since his arrest in 2018. Senior U.S. District Judge David A. Ezra sentenced Dominguez to 30 years without parole, the statutory maximum sentence in this case. “The judge’s comments on how life-altering Dominguez’s callous actions are for the young victim are true,” U.S. Attorney Ashley Hoff said in a statement. “I am thankful this predator is behind bars and the healing process can begin for this child.”
