A Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy has died Wednesday afternoon after colliding with an 18-wheeler on the Tomball Parkway, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 1:46 p.m. in the area of Texas 249 just before Spring Cypress Road, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez stated in a tweet. The deputy, whom Gonzalez identified as 27-year-old Robert Adam Howard, was taken to a local hospital. He did not survive.A separate crash injured a motorcycle deputy who was escorting the first deputy to the hospital, Gonzalez added. He was also taken to a hospital in fair [email protected]
