Priscilla Coleman has lived at the same address for 16 years. This was the first time she began feeling unsafe inside her own home.
Priscilla Coleman's home was sprayed with bullets while she watched tv in bedPriscilla Coleman was trying to watch TV at her Harrisburg home on an April afternoon when she first heard the shots.
Coleman, 61, has lived in the house in the 500 block of South 17th Street for 16 years. This was the first time she began feeling unsafe inside her own home. The shooting frustrated her and her family because it was just one incident among many that are leaving her and her neighbors feeling unsafe. The night of the shooting, things didn’t calm down right away until police started arriving. Then she said she thinks the people involved started running.
“No one should be fearful of gunshots while inside their house. It’s not fair for those residents and they have the right to feel safe inside their homes,” Gautsch said.
