It's GroundhogDay! Here's how to celebrate by watching the '90s comedy starring Bill Murray online.
? The annual tradition was brought to the U.S. by German settlers. The first Groundhog Day event was held in Punxsutawney on Feb. 2, 1887.to land a meeting with producers in hopes of getting other potential work.
Director Harold Ramis worked with Rubin on retooling the script, but Murray wasn’t the first choice to play Phil. Michael Keaton, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase all turned down the role before Murray signed on.grossed $105 million at the box office and went on to become one of the highest grossing films of 1993.
