Showers and possible thunderstorms are expected across New Jersey today, with locally heavy rain and gusty winds
Up to an additional inch of rain is expected in Atlantic and Cape May counties with a quarter to a half inch likely for most of the rest of the state, the weather service said. Localized flooding and flooding in areas with poor drainage is possible, but there shouldn’t be widespread issues.
Most of New Jersey will reach the low 60s with a mix of sun and clouds, though conditions will be a bit breezy with winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to about 25 mph. Saturday will be party sunny and a bit cooler — highs will be in the 50s — with a chance of some light rain before temps drop into the 30s at night.says showers are expected in the northern half of the state. Temperatures will dip into the 20s Sunday night into Monday for much of the state.
The beginning of next week will be dry and sunny but cold with temps only in the 30s and 40s on Monday and Tuesday.
