Tens of thousands of people attended the Great Texas Airshow at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph on Saturday.The Great Texas Airshow delighted observers over the weekend with aerial displays of speed and skill for the first time in more than four years, but many visitors said online that its lines were anything but fast.
On Saturday, many people who chose to enter via Loop 1604 and FM 78 said they had to wait at least two hours to get on the base. One user, Brian Butler, said they left after waiting an hour and a half to park, then seeing a “massive” line of people waiting to be searched and bused the to the flight area.At noon, user Elizabeth Hachtel wrote that she waited three hours and could not get on the base after being directed to the South Gate.
