Intel’s plan includes an investment of more than $20 billion to build two state-of-the-art factories in central Ohio by 2025. It’s expected that the project will generate over 20,000 jobs for Ohioans, including direct Intel positions and construction opportunities.Even though the facilities will be located in Licking County, the impact is expected to be felt statewide. An estimated $2.8 billion is expected to be added to the state’s annual gross product, the governor’s office said.
