Who will be back for Good Omen's second coming?
This article contains spoilers for Good Omens season 2After Good Omens season 2 ended explosively, with the Metatron telling Aziraphale that his new job in Heaven will be helping to direct "the second coming", there have been hints that the writers will be reintroducing many former characters for season 3.
9 Crowley Described as a demon who didn't as much fall as "saunter vaguely downwards," Crowley ends season 2 by rejecting Hell to stay on Earth with Aziraphale; however, he is betrayed by the angel, who takes up a place in Heaven. Like in season 1, Crowley is sure to play a key role in trying to prevent the events in Revelations from playing out in season 3 as he much prefers things to stay as they are and for him to be left alone by Heaven and Hell.
6 Jesus Jesus only made a small appearance in season 1. In a flashback, Crowley and Aziraphale watch his crucifixion, with Crowley asking what he did wrong, and Aziraphale answering Jesus just told people to "be kind to each other." However, the second coming means that Jesus is likely to play a much larger role in season 3.
4 The Metatron The Metatron is the angel who acts as the voice of God, though he also seems to be an individual in his own right as he had angels cowering when he appeared in human form in the season 2's finale. The closest angel to God, the Metatron is heavily involved in orchestrating the second coming. In season 2, he appointed Aziraphale to work on the plan which means that Aziraphale and other angels will be answering to him in season 3.
