Gigi Hadid honored her late friend and fashion mogul Karl Lagerfeld with a series of photos ahead of this year's MetGala ⤵️
The supermodel took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to share memories with Lagerfeld, who she worked closely with over the years before his death in 2019. He was 85. The photos come one day before the Met Gala celebrates his legacy with the theme,“Tomorrow we celebrate Karl at the Met Gala,” Hadid wrote on Instagram. “I feel so lucky to have experienced this legend! He is so very missed… I can't wait to see all the fashion houses pay tribute to him creatively.
The 2023 Met Gala will take place on May 1 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The exclusive event serves as the grand opening of the Costume Institute's yearly special exhibit.
