As a response to rising gas prices, Giant Eagle has extended the expiration period on its perks program.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Giant Eagle announced it is modifying its Perks program, extending the expiration as a response to supply-chain issues and rising gas prices, the company announced.“Rising fuel costs present very real challenges for our communities, so we’re creating more opportunity for Giant Eagle customers to accumulate and redeem Perks by extending expiration through the end of 2022,” Giant Eagle Inc. spokesperson Jannah Jablonowski said in a release.
Normally, myPerks customers have at least 90 days to redeem perk rewards. The traditional fuelperks+ program has a 60-day period.receive immediate per-gallon savings of up to 30 cents off every fill-up.offers flexibility for customers to use perks as it suits them. The myPerks program is based on a dollar-based redemption method: It provides a $1 reward for every 50 perks they earn.
