.GaSecofState Brad Raffensperger is facing a tough Republican primary race in his bid for reelection.
Raffensperger sparked the ire of former President Donald Trump by refusing to back his unfounded claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him and faces a Trump-backed primary challenger, Rep. Jody Hice.A recent Landmark Communications, Inc./ WGCL-TV poll of likely Republican voters in Georgia found Hice leading the primary race at 34.7%, with Raffensperger at 18.3% and other challengers trailing them both. A full third of voters polled remain undecided ahead of the March 24 primary.
"Brad took a stand to make Georgia's elections the safest in the nation, and we're confident the people of Georgia will stand with Brad on Election Day,” Dutson said.
