Rare documents on display at the George W. Bush Presidential Center and Museum will give visitors a look at the pursuit of democracy.
The George W. Bush Presidential Museum is set to open an exclusive exhibit of rare documents that show the evolution of democracy. It's called"Freedom Matters."
"It underscores the history of our pursuit of freedom here in the United States," George W. Bush Institute Executive Director David Kramer said."It's incredibly important that we understand the origins, that we understand how far we have come, and also recognize that we still have a ways to go.""It's a nice pocket-sized version," George W. Bush Institute Director of Freedom and Democracy Chris Walsh said.
"We need to come to places like this and have conversations with our friends and our family, even when they're uncomfortable, in a very civil way," Walsh said.
