How far the UCLA and USC men’s basketball teams go in March could be determined by what they do in February.

Against better opponents at Arizona and USC the past two games, the Bruins shot poorly and turned the ball over too much. Their trajectory has to change starting tonight.
With the Pac-12 having gotten three teams into March Madness in most recent seasons, the Trojans have to finish strong in their 10 remaining regular-season games or depend on the Pac-12 tournament March 8-11 in Las Vegas to get them over the line.
