Alvin Gree, 59, is accused of falsifying names and signatures on Petitions for Judicial Office documents ahead of the 2022 election in Dallas County.
The charges were announced by the Fort Bend County district attorney’s office. A Dallas County administrative judge in April appointed the DA’s office in the suburban Houston area to investigate the allegations after granting the Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot’s motion to recuse his office.
Green also allegedly used the identities of 30 people from one candidate’s petition for office and transferred them to other candidates’ petitions, according to court documents.Advertisement Alvarez declined to comment when reached by phone Saturday. Armstrong, Brown, Mata and Olvera did not immediately return requests for comment.
