Frank Ocean has canceled his appearance for the second weekend of Coachella. Ocean’s reps said in a statement to NBC News that he dropped out of Coachella due to an injury.
The singer had been slated to appear as the Sunday headliner for the music festival in Indio, California on April 23.
“After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing,” the statement reads. “And in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity.”
