In Fort Collins, there is now new artwork showcasing and honoring Hispanic sugar beet workers. The mural is called 'Para Mi Familia', which translates to 'For My Family.'
FORT COLLINS, Colo. — In Fort Collins, there is now new artwork showcasing and honoring Hispanic sugar beet workers.It was painted by Armando Silva, who's been working on it for weeks.
However, before getting to this point, the concept had to be thought of, and that's where Betty Aragon-Mitotes came in. The mural sits on the outside of the well known restaurant. Hugo Caballero said when he was told the mural would sit outside his restaurant, he was speechless.
