Carlos Dominguez pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder in relation to the string of stabbings that occurred in Davis at Yolo Superior Court on Friday.
Yolo County Superior Court Judge Daniel Wolk agreed with De Moura, denying bail to Dominguez, citing the risk to public safety, the nature of the crimes and the seriousness of the charges.
David Henry Breaux, 50, was found dead in Central Park on April 27 with multiple stab wounds. Two nights later, on April 29, 20-year-old UC Davis student Karim Abou Najm was stabbed to death in Sycamore Park. The May 4, 2023, booking photo of Carlos Reales Dominguez, who was arrested in connection with the series of stabbings in Davis.
