The Denver Nuggets were always open to a reunion with veteran forward Jeff Green if it came at the right price.Green, who spent the last two years in Denver and was a key piece of their championship rotation, agreed on a one-year, $6 million deal with the Houston Rockets, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post.

His departure clears a path for some of Denver’s other forwards to develop. Heading into next season, the onus will shift from Green to young forwards Peyton Watson, Zeke Nnaji and Vlatko Cancar.
