Myers’ son, Evan, started at quarterback for Twin Valley as a freshman last season and passed for 1,454 yards with 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also ran for 94 yards and five scores. Twin Valley made it to the District 3 playoffs for the first time in school history last season under the guidance of former offensive coordinator and first-year head coach Kris Olsen. But, in what Roberts’ website called “a surprising move,” the school opened up its head coaching job two weeks ago.
