Two MPC standouts got USA Lacrosse All-American honors on Thursday while three received All-Academic awards.

Vicki Vellios Briner | Special to PennLiveThe USA Lacrosse All-American awards were released for Central Pa. boys on Thursday, and five of the Mid-Penn Conference’s very own were mentioned on the list.
Raj Chima and Austin Bergey of Trinity, along with Palmyra’s Brady Ward, each received All-Academic honors for their achievement in the classroom. Chima was in the top five for scoring during the lacrosse regular season with 60 goals, 13 assists and 18 ground balls; Bergey won 82 face-offs, captured 27 ground balls and assisted 11 scores; Ward scored 42 goals, had 23 assists and 21 ground balls; and Fritz captured 44 ground balls.Connor Fritz of Cumberland Valley lacrosse during spring sports media day on March 9, 2023.
