Kaylee actor Jewel Staite gives a disappointing response to the chances of a Firefly revival but shares what she thinks happened to her character.
Firefly star Jewel Staite has provided a blunt assessment of the chances of the cult sci-fi series returning for a belated season 2. Created and directed by Joss Whedon, Firefly is a space-western series that was cancelled by the Fox network after only 11 of its total 14 episodes had aired. Despite its short-lived run on network television, the series would go on to garner a cult following after its release on home video, ultimately leading to the creation of the 2005 film continuation Serenity.
