An argument that began inside a car evolved into a fight in Kearny Mesa, and then led to the stabbing of a young man and the arrest of a 20-year-old woman, San Diego Police said.
At around 8 p.m. Wednesday, police said four people were arguing in a car when the vehicle stopped in the 7100 block of Eastman Street. A female — later identified as Breana Samayoa — and a 19-year-old man got out and continued to argue, police said.
According to police, during the argument, Samayoa allegedly “took out a folding pocketknife with an approximately 3-inch blade and stabbed the 19-year-old male victim multiple times.” An 18-year-old man and a female got out of the car in an attempt to break up the fight, but the suspect allegedly slashed the 18-year-old man on his wrist and then assaulted the female. The female victim suffered bruises to her face and a cut on her nose, police said.The male victims were taken to the hospital after both suffered non-life threatening injuries. The female victim did not require hospitalization.
