A federal court on Thursday declined to reconsider an August ruling that gave a House committee the right to Donald Trump’s tax returns for 2015 to 2020, clearing the way for Trump’s records to be handed over to Democratic lawmakers.

Neal , said in a statement that “the law has always been on our side.” “Former President Trump has tried to delay the inevitable, but once again, the Court has affirmed the strength of our position,” the statement said. “We’ve waited long enough—we must begin our oversight of the IRS’s mandatory presidential audit program as soon as possible.”
