The robberies happened Saturday morning in Broadview Heights and Highland Heights, according to a news release from the FBI.
The first robbery took place just before 9:40 a.m. at a Citizens Bank branch on Broadview Road in Broadview Heights. The individuals approached a teller and passed over a demand note. They left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, the FBI says.
About 45 minutes later, the same duo entered a Key Bank branch on Alpha Drive in Highland Heights. They also passed a demand note to a teller and left with cash, the news release says. Surveillance still images released by the FBI show the robbers wearing the same outfits in both robberies.
