A Fairbanks man and main supplier of drugs to the Fairbanks area has been found guilty on multiple drug charges.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A Fairbanks man and main supplier of methamphetamine and heroin to the Fairbanks area has been found guilty on multiple drug related charges. 32-year-old Cody Stockton has been convicted of the crimes.
According to a Department of Law press release, investigators from the Alaska State Troopers, North Pole Police, Fairbanks Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration , working together, uncovered a drug ring from Seattle to Fairbanks led by Stockton. In 2021 two large packages from Seattle to Fairbanks containing 427 grams and 453 grams of meth were recovered and linked to Stockton, under the alias name “Randall Mailloux” used by Stockton. Investigators also identified a system involving a woman who recruited and “trained women to carry narcotics in their body cavities on flights from Seattle to Fairbanks at the behest of Cody Stockton,” per court documents.
April 2022, investigators from Alaska traveled to Seattle to further investigate Stockton with the Seattle DEA. A search warrant of his apartment and vehicle discovered drug paraphernalia, counterfeit Percocet pills and over 100 blue pills containing fentanyl and aspartame. The State of Alaska extradited Stockton from Seattle for prosecution. He has been found guilty of three drug counts on December 22, 2022, including first-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, and two counts of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
