On June 7, the Express-News hosts the Alamo City High School Sports Awards, an event that recognizes high school athletes from across the area.

The event, which will be hosted by Six Flags Texas at its Zaragoza Theatre will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will honor every high school player who has been selected or an Express-News all-area team, super team or has been named a Player of the Week or Athlete of the Week.
