The man exchanged messages with an officer he believed to be a 15-year-old girl in February.
The feds said Line attempted to meet with the girl after leaving his shift at Universal Orlando. He was promptly arrested when he arrived at the site.
An arrest affidavit showed that Line used the online alias “Stephen” and purportedly told the undercover officer that he was “absolutely okay” with their age difference,Line told the detective “I can teach you stuff” during their interaction and said they should “definitely meet tonight,” theLine faces anywhere from 10 years to life in federal prison. He is slated to be sentenced on Nov. 2.
Prior to working at the theme park, Line was a teacher at Oviedo High School in Florida for 18 years, according to the DOJ. He left that job in 2019.
