Another bird named Diego is still missing somewhere in the Bay Area.
, pretty little iridescent blue-green and orange birds, flew back into their habitat on their own Thursday. On Friday, a hooded vulture named Oliver, who had been hanging around the zoo grounds, was lured into a flamingo habitat with some"tasty treats," the zoo said on Twitter. The bribery worked, and Oliver was captured and returned to his home., black-and-white birds native to Africa.
Great news! Today an Oakland resident living a few miles from the Zoo spotted Deauville, one of our 2 last missing birds, a Pied Crow. Our keepers headed over and were able to lure him inside this kind resident’s home, where he was safely caught & brought back to the Zoo!
